Being a partner at the world’s first global coworking consultancy for almost a decade has granted me the privilege of collaborating with numerous clients and partners, each with their own unique challenges and opportunities, concepts, and implementation journeys. After the hybrid revolution, OpenWork, took root as a corporate workplace research firm. So it’s fitting that we would share an important update: the launch of a new website, CoworkingConsulting.com, created in partnership with some ecosystem partners I’ve learned to trust and work with over the past decade. Why the Switch?

Over the years, after we have worked with numerous partners on coworking projects, from technology and furniture companies to marketing and door access providers. These collaborations have contributed to the success of countless coworking spaces worldwide. In order to better serve the growing coworking industry and model moving forward, the coworking models needs create a platform that unites the process and value chain of partners to benefit industry adoption and deployment, thus CoworkingConsulting.com (powered by our Partnership Ecosystem) was born.

The main difference between CoworkingConsulting.com and OpenWork Agency is our area of focus, customer type, and our frameworks and processes for delivering projects. OpenWork Agency serves organization HR directors, facility managers, and executives who are focused on improving their organizational workplace strategy. CoworkingConsulting is focused exclusively on helping new and existing coworking operations to concept, grow, and scale specifically in the coworking industry.

The new platform is powered by our Coworking Development Partner Ecosystem, comprised of partners we’ve worked with on projects over the last ten years. Our goal is to make it easier than ever for clients to succeed in the coworking industry by partnering on infrastructure and helping to build bridges towards real estate developers and coworking operators in creative ways.

We’ve also expanded our global reach by partnering with three other coworking consulting firms in Scotland, Barcelona, and Cambodia. This collaboration allows us to share best practices, resources, and expertise across borders, ultimately helping our clients achieve greater success in the coworking industry.

While we are able to leverage the OpenWork resource library in full, we have updated our service approach to feel differently. By leveraging a more interconnected process with our partners, the process moves much quicker and becomes much more scalable.
